Dr. Kenneth Chok graduated from the University of Hong Kong. He pursued his surgical training at the Department of Surgery, The University of Hong Kong, Queen Mary Hospital since his internship. After the conferment of the fellowship in 2006, he obtained post-fellow training under Professor Lo Chung Mau and Professor Fan Sheung Tat at the Division of Hepatobiliary/ Pancreatic and Division of Liver Transplantation in 2007. Dr. Chok soon became a staff surgeon and is currently the Honorary Consultant at the Queen Mary Hospital and Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Hong Kong. His research interests focus on the advances in the management of Hepatocellular Carcinoma, Bridging therapies for patients with Hepatocellularc Carcinoma on transplant waiting list and sexual dysfunction in post liver transplantation recipients. He is particularly interested in the management of biliary complications and hepatorenal syndrome in living donor liver transplantation. He is one of the pioneers in advocating Minimally Invasive Hepatobiliary Surgery and Associating Liver Partition and Portal Vein Ligation for Staged Hepatectomy (ALPPS) in the territory. He published extensively on the topics of hepatobiliary, pancreatic and liver transplantation and he was awarded Carlos Pelligrini Traveling Fellowship in 2015 from the Amercian College of Surgeons.
