Overview

Over 60 years since the first human organ transplant, many aspects of the mechanisms by which the adaptive immune system responds to a solid organ transplant remain unclear. In this lecture, I will focus on the different pathways of T cell allorecognition and discuss recent advances in our understanding of how these contribute to graft rejection.
