Juan F. Delgado, MD is staff cardiologist and director of the Heart Failure and Transplant Unit, “12 de Octubre” Hospital, Madrid, Spain. He graduated as a physician in 1986 and obtained PhD degree in 1998. He is Full Professor at the Complutense University, Madrid.
He has published over 165 original papers and acts as an editorial board member for The Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation, American Journal of Cardiology, Revista Española de Cardiología and Revista Española de Trasplantes. He has participated as main investigator in several multicentric trials.
Dr. Juan F. Delgado is member of the Spanish Society of Cardiology, European Society of Cardiology and International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation. He was chairman of the heart failure and heart transplant association of the Spanish Society of Cardiology.
His main area of clinical research is heart failure, pulmonary circulation and heart transplantation.
