Dr. Sunita Mathur is a physical therapist and AssociateProfessor in the Dept of Physical Therapy, Univdersity of Toronto (Toronto, Canada). Sunita leads the Muscle Function and Performance Lab in the Dept of Physical Therapy. Her research is focused on the evaluation of skeletal muscle dysfunction and sarcopenia in people with chronic disease, including solid organ transplant recipients. She also studies exercise and physical activity in the solid organ transplant population. Dr. Mathur is the co-founder and co-Chair of the Canadian Network for Rehabilitation and Exercise for Solid Organ Transplant Optimal Recovery (CAN-RESTORE) and an Investigator and Project Co-Lead in the Canadian National Transplant Research Program (CNTRP).
