Qinfen Xie, M.D., is an attending surgeon in the Department of HBP Surgery & Liver Transplantation Center in Shulan(Hangzhou) Hospital under the supervision of Prof. Zheng Shusen, an internationally renowned liver transplant surgeon. She has worked in the Department of HBP Surgery & Liver Transplantation in the First Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine for more than 5 years. She came to Shulan (Hangzhou) Hospital on 2016, she is currently also the Vice Director of Department of International Exchange in the hospital. She had been a Clinical Observer in Bristol Royal Infirmiry and King's College London to learn hepatobiliary surgery and liver transplantation in 2015. She had also been a Clinical Observer in Liver Transplant Program in University of California, San Francisco under the supervision of Nancy Ascher, President of TTS in 2018. She had joined in some scientific projects in liver transplantation and published articles about liver transplantation. She had attended many times of International Liver Transplant Society (ILTS) congress. She have participated in almost 300 liver transplantations, 100 of which as first assistant, mostly cadaveric LT. She can harvest and prepare the donor liver. She gains experience treating patients on the waiting list for liver transplant and manages the surgical and medical complications after LT with efficacy. Currently she is Committee Member of Chinese Physician Association, Surgeon Branch ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) Expert Committee, Committee Member of Chinese Medical Association, Organ Transplant Physician Branch, Transplant immunology expert Committee, Secretary of Shulan Organ Transplantation Center, Member of International Liver Transplantation Society. Her major research interests are early allograft dysfunction, liver transplantation for hepatocellur carcinoma, transplant immunology, et al.
