Dr Chi Yuen Cheung was graduated from the University of Hong Kong.  He received his training in Nephrology and Internal Medicine at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Hong Kong where he received the Outstanding Staff Award in 2011.  He received overseas training at Maastricht University Hospital under Professor JP van Hooff and was awarded PhD in 2009.  In 2017, he received MD from the University of Hong Kong.   He is currently Associate Consultant at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Hong Kong.  His research interests include use of immunosuppressive drugs in kidney transplantation, pharmacogenetics and cancer in patients with kidney disease.  He is the author and reviewer of many international and local journals including American Journal of Transplantation, American Journal of Kidney Disease, Transplant International, Nephrology, Dialysis and Transplantation, etc.  He is also the Associate Editor of the Hong Kong Journal of Nephrology.
