Timucin Taner, MD, PhD is a liver transplant surgeon and immunologist at Mayo Clinic. He obtained his medical degree from Hacettepe University (Turkey), and PhD in Immunology from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his surgical training at Mayo Clinic. His research focuses on liver transplant immunobiology and the impact of the liver allograft on host alloimmunity.
