Dr. Sawinski is Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a practicing transplant nephrologist. Her epidemiological research focuses on outcomes for kidney transplant recipients, with special interest in the effect of chronic viral infections, such as HIV, HCV or BK on outcomes.
